Shinobi's Love Joongbo (chap 3)

 Chapter 3


Hwangbo was baffled .

"How on earth did they end up like this" she thought.

Four years ago she was crazily in love with him. He made a mockery of  her when he left her to do the Flower drama.

She did believe his empty promises and  waited for him. But the day she found out about the  Hong Kong Scandal she gave up on him. The fool that she was, she softened when he contracted the H1NI flu. He never apologized to her for the scandal, saying he did nothing wrong.They continued the relationship but he was always busy and the fans were mindlessly stalking him .

In the end they just slowly drifted apart , neither said goodbye ! they just stopped communicating. And then came in Minwoo who changed her world and turned it upside down . He was everything Hyunjoong was not.Although he was as popular as Hyunjoong, he always managed to make time for her. In the end when No Min Woo proposed she couldn't say no because he was perfect.

Hwangbo was sitting on the rocks contemplating, while the waves crashed against her feet, lost in thought, staring at the sunset. Hyunjoong suddenly came up and startled her

"Hwangbo sunbae-nim ! what are you doing here? Its not safe here " he said.

"It is safer to be alone than to be with you !" she said.

"I am sure you are the only woman in Asia who wouldn't want to share a house on a deserted island with me" he grinned.

He showed her the letter.

"What does this mean?" she said holding out the letter to him.

"I don't know buin ! all I know is that we are stranded on an island , with all the amenities .......so we are not going to die anytime soon........  so its okay ! let us wait .....I am sure someone would find us here!" he said picking up a shell from the sand.

"I am hungry !...........buin can you please make something for me ?" he asked.

"Forget it  Hyunjoong !............I am not going to cook anything for you........these hands can only cook for No - Min - Woo !" saying thus Hwangbo left him standing alone staring after her.

The House was beautiful at night.The swimming pool was like an emerald  and Hwangbo could not resist it..........So she changed into one of her famous bikinis and  jumped into the pool.

Hyunjoong was thoroughly bored . He could not understand why his ex was so hostile with him. He was not the one who ended the relationship. In fact she was the one who stopped answering his calls. She was unnecessarily jealous over the damn drama kiss. He never even looked at other women. He remembered the HK scandal when he went shopping with some girls because  kyu and yongsaeng wanted to have fun. Why would he even date such horrible looking women anyways. She would never understand him. Never. 

He took the cereal bar and started munching on it . If only there was a TV . He went out and found HB swimming almost naked.

"Buin do you want to kill me?" he asked stepping onto  the steps and handing over the towel ."cover up ........palli !"

"Are you crazy Hyunjoong? If you can't handle this ..........then go to hell !" she replied back and went back into the water.

" What ? are you saying that its okay to be like this with me ?" he asked her while getting into the water himself.

"Its not like its your first time seeing me in a bikini ! so I don't care ......and I also know that I am stronger than you .......If you play dirty I will give you one of my famous Taekwondo kicks! " she replied.

"Ah whatever !"replied Hyunjoong.

They continued to swim silently.................

Hyunjoong was always attracted to her. Although he did fight it a lot. She was so different , so unique...... never did he think of actually separating from her..........he always updated himself on what she was up to .  Although they  went separate ways he always knew one day they would get back together again. Until minwoo showed up. Most of Hwangbo's admirers were his friends so they knew she was off limits. But No minwoo's popularity was so sudden that he never knew he even existed.

Hwangbo got out of the swimming pool and he couldn't stop staring at her. He remembered the episode with alshin couple where she wore the bikini just to spite him because she was angry with him and he was also angry with her because while he was slaving away in Japan....she was having fun with the supernova guys.

"Look Hyunjoong I don't want to nurse you back to health if you catch a cold.........those days are gone ! so get out of the pool "she said rubbing her wet hair.

"Yes ...okay........buin......you tanned a little today.......remember when.........." he had to run after her and stop her as she walked away.....

 "I don't want to listen to those days...........I have Min woo now Hyunjoong! I moved on..........It would be better if you did too!"

"Huh ! then I should've gone and had affairs with all those actresses .........like a fool I waited for you ....while you were dating away Minwoo" he said angrily.

"When did I ever stop you.........if you had the time you would have dated all of them........you never had the time" she yelled.

"No ! not the time .......it was because of you !"he whispered into her ear and left into the changing room.

"wait .......what ? hey !" yelled Hwangbo but he was gone .

Hwangbo went into the kitchen ,drank some milk and went off to sleep . Hyunjoong came back from the shower and came into the bedroom ......the house had only one bedroom and he had no intention of sleeping anywhere else.

He saw her sleeping ,looking exhausted and thought that fate played a wicked game with them ..........he was a young man in love with an older woman and the whole world was against them. There was not much he could do, but to bow to the circumstances. He tried to make up for the lost time but it was his first relationship and he didn't know what to do. His friends had no clue too .Be it Jae , Mickey , Top ....or Inyoung .......no one had a relationship like this. His parents were against it!. He never bothered about others opinion anyways. But time had a different plan. He became successful and she was the same. People thought he was unapproachable , but he had to secure a future for himself  and  in the way he lost the most precious thing in his life. He was  helpless , he could not invite the reason behind his success to his concert in Seoul and he felt like a heel. Life was never easy for him.

Hwangbo pretended to sleep ......three years back when he became popular she was happy for him and never wanted to interfere with his career .So, she stayed away from him but he took her for granted. He thought he was protecting her . She thought he was not sure. In the end it all boiled down to nothing.

He crept in beside her on the bed. She immediately got up and yelled at him

"What are you doing here?"

"Me? I am trying to sleep !" he answered her.

"Get out ! now ....go !" she said.

"I am sleeping right here ....if you don't like it you can sleep on the sofa in the hall !"he said.

"Aish...........okay .......fine I will sleep on the ground !" she said and was gathering up her pillows when he stopped her.

"No ! don't ! I am sorry ...........I will sleep there !" he said and left the room.
